This course covers both the implementation of TWS (OPC) and all of its functions, starting with the TWS databases and the planning, scheduling and controlling of the workload using long term planning, daily planning and the current plan.

A combination of theory and practical exercises support the learning process.

This course is suitable for operations staff who are responsible for implementing TWS (OPC) and who use it to control batch job suits within their installation.

Recommended Prerequisites

Students are required to be familiar with JCL and TSO/ISPF.
